I found this gorgeous small cowrie shell on the uninhabited island of Samson in The Isles of Scilly – I have spent many hours searching on the beautiful white stretch of sand there! It comes on a 9ct link chain and measures approximately 10mm x 8mm. If you have a preference on chain style please get in touch via the Contact page and I can quote for an alternative. Also available in a larger size of approximately 13mm x 10mm. Please specify chain length and size of cowrie when ordering. This 9 carat gold sand dollar was cast from one found on a beach in Lamu – so delicate it crumbled during the casting so I no longer have the original in my collection of shells. I love the intricate detail on it. I have put it onto a 9 carat gold link chain but if you would prefer a different style chain please contact me on the Contact page. The sand dollar measures 3cms x 2.7cms.
